CARNIVOROUS BROMELIADS

The few Bromeliads which are confirmed to display carnivorous habits are quickly gaining popularity amongst hobbyists, and for good reason!  These magnificent plants take on myriad form and exist within two subfamilies of Bromeliads: Brocchinioideae  (Brocchinia) and Tillandsioideae (Catopsis).   Growing epiphytically, terrestrially and even lithophytically in some of the most remote and ancient places on earth, carnivorous Bromeliads may quickly become your favorite carnivorous plants as well!
